Spiced Fig & Pomegranate Hummus

This sweet and spicy play on traditional hummus pairs perfectly with the complimenting ingredients of fresh figs and my signature CHEF BLEND hot sauce. This is a must try flavorful and healthy snack that’s goes great with baked crispy pita chips. Simply sublime.

Spiced Fig & Pomegranate Hummus

Cook Time: 5 minutes


Cooking Instructions
  • 1 15-ounce can chickpeas

    1/2 cup chopped figs

    1/4 cup pomegranate seeds

    2 tablespoons Judson Todd Allen’s CHEF BLEND Hot Sauce

    2 tablespoons tahini

    2 garlic cloves

    1 tablespoon lemon juice

    1/2 teaspoon salt

    1/2 teaspoons ground cumin

    1 teaspoon olive oil

    1 tablespoon fresh parsley, finely chopped

  • In a blender or food processor, combine all ingredients including ¼ cup of figs. Blend until smooth and creamy. You are looking for a creamy, thick, dip like consistency.

    Transfer to a dish or bowl and garnish with olive oil, chopped figs, pomegranate seeds and chopped parsley.

    Serve with crispy baked pita chips
